The excellent location of the terrains, the deliberately limited production and the careful selection of the grapes determines the quality of this wine.

This wine has been obtained thanks to a careful selection of the grapes, grown in vineyards located in an excellent position within the estate and harvested entirely by hand some days later than the normal time of harvest. It has thus been obtained a better ripening of the grapes on the vine resulting an enrichement of sugar and lower acid content.

This Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is produced only in the best years.

It comes only from our Sangiovese Grosso vineyards and has the same vinification and aging as Brunello, with an extra 12 months of aging in French tonneaux (500 liter oak casks).

Col d’Orcia is a traditional producer of Brunello di Montalcino. The choice to continue using the large Slavonian oak barrels was taken many years ago, well before the debate between modernist and traditionalist producers even started.

 the locality of Rodel Pianezzi at 500 m s.l.m. with South-West exposure, somewhat ventilated position due to the influence of the “Ora” del Garda (wind that originates from the nearby large lake).

The variety of Moscato Giallo found in Valle dei Laghi its ideal habitat This very aromatic and lightly sweet wine is perfect both aperitif and dessert. Ripening lasts until late autumn. Azienda Agricola Pisoni takes care only of a small lot in order to provide this wine with structure and perfect peculiarities for the finest palate.

This extraordinary and precious vine, originally from Burgundy, has been cultivated for centuries by Trentino vine growers who, through careful research, have been able to create a typical variety of excellent quality and low yield.

Pinot Noir and Chardonnay cultivated by the Azienda Agricola Pisoni are also used to produce the well-known Spumante Pisoni, Brut and Reserve.

Grapevines and pomegranates have the same origins and are typical of the Mediterranean region. The pomegranate also has the same charm, beauty and intensity of the grape.
“Granato” is inspired by this ideal blend, an especially concentrated and dense Teroldego
whose roots plunge deep in the stones of three different vineyards of the Campo Rotaliano.

Every ounce of our experience, soul and energy has been invested in this wine. ‘Riserva’ stands for wine from a better year or a particular selection of grapes, aged longer than normal. In this case grapes from slow growing French vines, aged for a year in oak casks
