The Pinot Nero Schweizer grows in carefully chosen areas, which for their microclimate have proven to be ideal to produce this wine.

This vine was obtained by crossing two typical Trentino varieties: Teroldego (indigenous) and Merlot. Rebo Rigotti, a researcher at the Istituto Agrario di San Michele all’Adige, created this new variety in the early fifties. Until a few years ago Rebo was thought to be a cross between Merlot and Marzemino but now, with new DNA tests, we know it is a combination of Merlot and Teroldego and this is why the wine is rich, full-bodied and perfect for ageing.

The vineyard altitude is 250 m. above sea level. The exposoure is south. The training system is cordon spur. The yield per hectare is 80 Quintals. 

Sagrantino 25 Anni is the result of passionate research and careful clonal selection of the best grapes of Sagrantino.
It is a jubilee wine produced for the first time in 1993 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the winery. Since then it has kept this name together with its unique character, power and elegance.

Made from a local white grape that only grows in Liguria, Pigato is a flagship wine of Ligurian winemaking. The label features Castle Doria in golden yellow, like the straw yellow tinges of the wine, emphasised by a white line that is a stylised image of the humpback bridge, on a white background. It is an image that encapsulates Dolceacqua.

It is our youngest Amarone, a perfect combination between tradition and present, between easy-drinking quality and intensity, able to face longer aged Amarone wines in terms of taste and peculiarity. The big deal of this wine is the origin from a land historically devoted to great wine production as the Valpolicella Classica is. Awarded the “3 Bicchieri” (3 Glasses) prize by Gambero Rosso for eight consecutive years, this wine is obtained from single-variety vinification of Nero di Troia grapes cultivated in Contrada Pedale.
