The label is a tribute to Fortunato Depero, the famous painter from Trentino who was the father of the Futurism movement, and arises from a desire to combine artistic creativity with the regional identity.

After an old terraced vineyard had been recalimed in 1991, and the soil renewed, with the aid of technological innovations, the hillside slope was densely planted with low vines. “Collina Zinzèle” was thus created with the vines growing on the steepest side of the slope in order to achieve a limited yield of superior grapes from every vine.

Vino Santo has been produced here in very limited quantities, with the local grape Nosiola, since the medieval time. The mature and golden bunches of grapes are left to dry on racks under the roofs of the houses for 6/7 months: from October until Easter.
