Faedo in località Cosleri a 300-400 m. s.l.m. con esposizione Sud-Ovest, in località Pianezzi a 500 m. s.l.m. con esposizione Sud-Ovest e in località Palai a 700 m. s.l.m. esposizione Sud.
Posizioni alquanto ventilate per l’influenza dell’Ora del Garda (vento che trae origine dal vicino gran lago). A seconda dell’annata selezioniamo le uve migliori dal vigneto posto all’altitudine ideale (annata fredda 300 m. – annata calda 700 m.).

Franco Balter so called his wine, produced in the house before building the winery, combining the names of two children, Barbara and Nicholas. Today Barbanico Lagrein is a base with the addition of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The separate wine-making is necessary to ensurethe greatest possible expressiveness to each vine. A long affinemtno in barriques followed by bottle gives the wine importance, body, great balance and maximum expression of the fruit.

Produced from Pinot Noir grapes only, it spends a minimum of 36 months on the lees. It’s the most elegant expression of our terroir. The grapes are grown in vineyards with a N-NE orientation at altitudes varying from 300 and 430 m AMSL on a slope covered in white pebbles located between the towns of Santa Maria della Versa and Montecalvo Versiggia.

Vinification: Short maceration in press at 20° C. Fermentation 7 days in steel tanks at a controlled temperature

Aging: 15 days in steel tanks on fine lees with periodic bàtonnage, 1 month in the bottle

Grapes: Teroldego, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon

Vino Santo has been produced here in very limited quantities, with the local grape Nosiola, since the medieval time. The mature and golden bunches of grapes are left to dry on racks under the roofs of the houses for 6/7 months: from October until Easter.

In the 4th century B.C Diodoro Siculo named Malmsey wine (Malvasia delle Lipari) \'The nectar of the Gods\'. It is a DOC wine. 

The Gewürztraminer has been around for 1000 years, it is the wine of the minnesingers and the famous bard Oswald von Wolkenstein. Our Gewürztraminer vines are 30 years old and produce a wine worthy of its  long standing reputation.
