Ruberpan, Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore
Ruberpan Valpolicella Superiore was launched in 2003 from grapes grown on vineyards in Cellore d’Illasi, on the slopes of mount Garzon, 500m above sea level. The new winery is in the famous Villa Cipolla Pieropan in Tregnago Verona. The name Ruberpan comes from the Latin, ‘Ruber’ which means ruby red, and Pan from the Pieropan family

On the highest part of the hill, favoured by continuous breezes and boasting the rockiest soil, lies the vineyard that produces the grapes for our Brut. Fruit-rich and fragrant, it rests four long months on the fine lees, as tradition specifies; the result is a Prosecco with a refined, creamy mousse that immediately uplifts the soul.
This Brut is de rigueur for important occasions: the Counts of Collalto used it to toast great moments at Castle of San Salvatore and to mark the end of the agricultural year.

Our Amarone comes from the best selection of grapes, which grow high up in the hills of Valpolicella. Is a red wine of great structure, elegant complexity and a really warm and spicy bouquet, with raisin fruit flavor. It requires a long period of drying the grapes and a long aging in barrels.
