Maturing: 16 months in small barrels made from French oak
COLOUR: a rather intense ruby red colour
AROMA: Its aroma is heady and well-orchestrated, with herbaceous and forest floor notes
FLAVOUR: Its taste is dry, elegant, and rather full-bodied and balanced
Best enjoyed at a temperature of 18-20°C.
It is paired with central European dishes. It is particularly pleasing when paired with loin of smoked pork and mostarda (sweet fruit pickle) of apples, kren and stewed vegetables.
